Timing and Duration
I offer both short and long-term counselling, ranging from a few weeks to a number of months. This depends on your circumstances and what you hope to gain from therapy. In the first session, we will agree on how many sessions we plan to do together, and review this regularly. This ensures that you have a sense of control and you know when our work is due to finish. I will see you at the same time every week, and each session will last 50 minutes. The regularity of sessions helps to develop a secure and trusting relationship and is a key component of our work.
